This Privacy Policy explains how Crucible Fit, LLC (“Crucible,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information when you access or use our mobile applications, websites, merchandise offerings, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By using the Services, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy.

Section 1

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies when we collect information from or about you through the Services, including when you create an account, sign in, use workout features, connect health or fitness data, contact support, purchase or restore a subscription, place a merchandise order, or otherwise interact with us.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party services, platforms, or providers that maintain their own privacy policies, including Apple, Google, app marketplaces, device manufacturers, health-data frameworks, analytics providers, or commerce and fulfillment providers, except to the extent they act on our behalf.

Section 2

The Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide

We may collect information you provide directly to us, such as:

  • name, if provided through your sign-in provider;
  • email address, if provided through your sign-in provider;
  • account and profile information;
  • workout notes, comments, and related content;
  • customer support messages and correspondence;
  • feedback, testimonials, and other content you submit;
  • shipping and order information for merchandise purchases, where applicable.

B. Authentication Information

If you sign in through Apple Sign In, Google Sign In, or another supported authentication provider, we may receive identifiers and profile details that provider makes available to us, which may include your name, email address, and provider-specific account identifiers.

C. Workout and Training Information

We may collect and store information related to your use of the training features of the Services, including:

  • workout history;
  • selected exercises;
  • completed sessions;
  • sets, reps, load, and RPE;
  • plan usage;
  • notes and logs;
  • workout exports and related history.

D. Health, Fitness, and Device Data

If you grant permission, we may read from and write to health, fitness, workout, and related data frameworks available on your device, including Apple Health on iOS and supported Android health-data frameworks made available through the app’s supported packages and permissions.

Depending on your device, permissions, and supported integrations, this may include categories such as:

  • workout data;
  • exercise sessions;
  • heart rate and related fitness metrics;
  • active energy or calories;
  • body weight;
  • steps;
  • sleep-related data;
  • other health and fitness data that your device or operating system makes available to the Services and that you authorize us to access.

We only access categories you authorize. You may revoke permissions at any time through your device or operating-system settings.

E. Subscription and Purchase Information

We may collect limited records relating to:

  • subscription status;
  • entitlement restoration;
  • purchase verification;
  • app-store product identifiers;
  • merchandise transactions and order records.

In-app subscription payment processing is handled by the applicable app marketplace, such as Apple or Google. We do not receive your full payment card details for those marketplace purchases.

F. Technical, Diagnostic, and Usage Information

We may automatically collect certain technical and usage information, including:

  • device identifiers;
  • app instance identifiers;
  • crash logs;
  • diagnostics and error reports;
  • analytics events;
  • interaction and feature usage data;
  • technical metadata about app performance and sessions;
  • IP address and similar network information where applicable.

We do not currently collect precise location data through the Services unless we specifically ask for it in the future.

How We Use Information

We may use information we collect to:

  • provide, operate, and maintain the Services;
  • authenticate users and manage accounts;
  • generate workouts, suggestions, explanations, summaries, and related outputs;
  • save workout history, notes, and logs;
  • sync with health and fitness frameworks when authorized by you;
  • restore subscriptions and verify access entitlements;
  • process and fulfill merchandise-related activity;
  • communicate with you about the Services, including support, account, operational, transactional, and service messages;
  • send push notifications, emails, or text messages where permitted;
  • analyze reliability, usage, feature adoption, and app performance;
  • improve and develop the Services;
  • detect, investigate, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, security issues, and technical issues;
  • comply with legal obligations;
  • protect our rights, users, Services, and business operations;
  • market and promote the Services, including use of content you submit where permitted by law and our Terms of Use.

Section 4

Automated Processing

Certain features of the Services may use automated processing to generate workouts, explanations, substitutions, summaries, and related outputs based on your inputs, training history, permissions, connected device data, and related factors.

These outputs are intended to support the user experience. They are not medical advice and may not be accurate, complete, or appropriate for every user.

Section 5

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information for money.

We may disclose information:

  • to vendors and service providers that perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, infrastructure, analytics, crash reporting, authentication, messaging, customer support, commerce support, and fulfillment;
  • to Apple, Google, and other platform providers where necessary for authentication, subscriptions, entitlement restoration, or app functionality;
  • to health and fitness frameworks when you authorize read/write access;
  • to shipping, merchandising, commerce, and fulfillment providers where applicable;
  • if required by law, subpoena, court order, legal process, or regulatory request;
  • to investigate, enforce, or protect legal rights, safety, security, property, users, or the Services;
  • in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar corporate event;
  • with your consent or at your direction.

Section 6

Analytics, Tracking, and Similar Technologies

We may use analytics and similar technologies to understand how users interact with the Services, improve performance, measure campaigns, support attribution, and inform product decisions.

We do not currently include third-party in-app advertising SDKs for targeted advertising in the Services. We may, however, use website, attribution, analytics, pixels, or similar tracking technologies on marketing surfaces now or in the future, in accordance with applicable law.

We do not currently sell personal information to data brokers.

Section 7

Health and Sensitive Data

Some information processed through the Services may relate to your fitness activity, workouts, body weight, heart rate, sleep, or other health-related metrics that you choose to enter, authorize, or connect through your device.

We process this information only to operate, support, improve, and provide the Services to you, and for the other purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Crucible is not a HIPAA-covered entity and the Services are not a HIPAA-covered service.

Section 8

Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Services, maintain accounts, support legitimate business operations, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, protect security, and enforce our agreements.

If you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is necessary for:

  • legal compliance;
  • fraud prevention or security;
  • subscription, entitlement, or purchase recordkeeping;
  • tax, accounting, and audit purposes;
  • dispute resolution or enforcement;
  • other lawful internal uses permitted by applicable law.

Section 9

De-Identification and Aggregation

We may de-identify, aggregate, or otherwise transform information so that it no longer reasonably identifies you. We may use and retain de-identified or aggregated information for lawful business purposes, including analytics, research, product improvement, and reporting.

We do not attempt to re-identify de-identified information except where permitted by applicable law.

Your Choices

Health and Fitness Permissions

You may control health-data permissions through your device or operating-system settings.

Push Notifications

You may manage push notifications through your device settings.

Email and Text Communications

You may unsubscribe from non-essential marketing emails through the unsubscribe link in the email. Where applicable, you may opt out of text messages by following the instructions in the message.

Account Information

You may update certain account information through the Services where available or by contacting us.

Section 11

U.S. Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable U.S. privacy laws, subject to exceptions and limitations, including the right to:

  • confirm whether we process your personal information;
  • access certain personal information;
  • request deletion of certain personal information;
  • request correction of certain personal information;
  • appeal certain decisions relating to privacy requests.

To submit a privacy request, contact us through our website. We may need to verify your identity before processing a request.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising rights granted by applicable law.

Section 12

Children

The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Services. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us through our website.

Section 13

International Users

If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those jurisdictions may have data protection laws that differ from those in your home jurisdiction.

You are responsible for determining whether use of the Services is lawful in your jurisdiction.

Section 14

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Section 15

Third-Party Services

The Services may integrate with or link to third-party services, including app marketplaces, sign-in providers, device and health frameworks, analytics providers, commerce platforms, and fulfillment providers. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.

Section 16

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version becomes effective when posted or otherwise communicated to you. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date means you acknowledge the updated Privacy Policy.
